About this service

How this service works

We answer the phone and pass tree jobs to independent local crews. Here is what that means for you, plainly.

From first call to a cleared yard

No account and no app. A phone call, a text or a short form.

  1. Tell us about the tree

Call or text (321) 604-1285, or use the form. One photo of the whole tree and what sits under it helps more than a long description.

  2. We match you with a local crew

Your request goes to an independent contractor that works in your part of the county, anywhere from Mims to Micco.

  3. The crew prices the job

They call or text, usually come out for a look, and give you a price. Ask what it covers: haul-away, stump grinding, cleanup, permits.

  4. You decide

If the price and timing work, you book with the crew. If they don't, say no. Nothing is booked until you agree.

An independent service, not a tree company

Tree Service Brevard County connects homeowners with independent local contractors. We don't climb, cut, grind or haul, and nobody on a job site works for us. The contractor you're matched with sets the price, does the work and answers for it.

This site isn't connected to Brevard County government or any city. Permit questions go to the office that governs your address, and the guides here link the code for each one.

What happens after you call or send the form

First, someone answers or calls you back from (321) 604-1285. The questions are short: what kind of tree, where it is on the lot, what's under it, how a truck gets in, and how soon it needs doing. Photos help more than anything else you can send.

Then we pass the request to an independent contractor that works your part of the county. The crew contacts you directly, sometimes from their own number, to set up a look. They give you a price. If it works for you, you book with them. If it doesn't, say no and that's the end of it.

Who sees your information

Your name, number, address and photos go to the contractor matched to your job so they can contact you about it. They're also seen by the companies that run this site's hosting, forms and phone line, only so those services work.

We don't sell your information. Your mobile number and text opt-in are never shared with third parties for their own marketing. Photos of your property are used to understand the job and never published. Want something deleted? Call or text and say it's a privacy request. The privacy policy has the full version.

What this service doesn't take on

Some tree work needs a specific qualification or belongs to someone else. We'll tell you so instead of passing it along.

  • Trees touching or near power lines. FPL says only trained line-clearing professionals should work around lines, and trees touching them should be reported to the utility (FPL). Call your electric utility.
  • Mangroves. Trimming falls under the state's Mangrove Trimming and Preservation Act and its professional mangrove trimmers (F.S. 403.9329).
  • Insurance claims. This service doesn't file claims or talk to adjusters. Your insurer can tell you what your policy covers.
  • Risk letters under section 163.045. That documentation has to be signed by an ISA Certified Arborist or a Florida licensed landscape architect (F.S. 163.045), and this service doesn't write or sign it.

Questions worth asking the crew

Whoever you end up hiring, these questions save arguments later. This service doesn't vouch for any contractor's paperwork, so check what matters to you yourself.

  • Is the price in writing, and does it include haul-away, stump grinding and cleanup?
  • Can I see a certificate of insurance? Then call the insurer listed on it to confirm the policy is current.
  • If someone tells you they're an ISA Certified Arborist, you can check with ISA, which verifies credential status for the public. It's a private credential, not a state license (ISA).
  • Do you have a Brevard business tax receipt? The county levies the tax on anyone doing business here (Brevard County Tax Collector).
  • Does my city or the county need a permit for this tree, and who is applying for it?
  • If the stump is being ground, will you contact Sunshine 811 first? It must be notified at least two full business days before digging (Sunshine 811).
  • How will you protect the lawn, driveway, sprinkler heads and septic lid?

How this is paid for

Sending a request is free for you. We may be paid by contractors for the jobs we pass along, which is what keeps the phone answered.

About the photos

The images on this site are illustrations made for it. They show the kind of work involved, not a specific job, crew or property.

Questions people ask

Are you a tree company?

No. This is a matching service. The work is done by independent local contractors, and your agreement is with them.

Will the crew call from a different number?

Possibly. The first call or text usually comes from (321) 604-1285. The contractor matched to your job may then reach you from their own number, so pick up for local numbers for a day or two.

What if I don't like the price?

Say no. Nothing is booked until you and the crew agree on the price and the timing.

Will my number be sold to a list?

No. Your request goes to the contractor matched to your job so they can contact you about it. We don't sell it for anyone's marketing. The privacy policy has the details.
